Hi!  My name is Jamie and I am used to have the blog Vailia's Page Turner.  Due to stress, wanting to branch out into other interests and privacy laws and disclaimers I stopped blogging but now I am back!  My last blog was all about books.  ANd that will likely be the primary thing I share about here but also my other interest.  Games (console, PC, Board, Roleplaying...), Movies, Anime, Manga, Fanfiction and more! 

I will be sharing what I am reading, playing, watching.  What I look forward to, what catches my attention, and more. While Vailia's Page Turner was all books and mostly reviews I am pushing away from that.  Yes I will share my opinions on books but it will be much more informal.  Basic thoughts, reactions, etc for the most part. 

If you are looking for the Newest Releases only, this isn't the place for you.  While sure I will read new releases I will be talking older products and interests as well.  Think of this more like an open diary in a way.  You get to see what I do for fun, what I am into and a basic idea of what I think of these things.

As for me, I am an avid book reader.  I read a very large variety of books as can be seen on Goodreads.  Mostly YA, fantasy, manga, Sci-fi, Suspense/Horror, etc.  I am constantly getting myself caught up in reading challenges and group reads on the site.  I have a personal library I am still trying to catalog on Goodreads.  Over 8000 books in total (including ebooks), most of which I still look forward to reading as I pass along a lot of books through swaps, or give them away to fellow readers.

I love to play and share games.  I have consoles ranging from the original NES and Sega Genesis up to a PS4.  And many inbetween.  I PC game (favorites include World of Warcraft and The Sims).  I playing tabletop games too of a wide variety.  I used to to tabletop RPGs for D&D, Star Wars, White Wolf and others but not currently in a game.

Movies & TV shows- YES PLEASE.  Especially fantasy, sci-fi, Anime or K-dramas. 

Fanfiction-I'll admit it, even if it is a controversial thing.  I can really enjoy some good fanfiction.  Especially "What if" scenarios" or ending changers, etc.  Favorites to read: Harry Potter and Star Wars.

I am in my  30s, have 1, 1 (possibley 2 if we keep our current foster) large dog who thinks he is a lap dog (UGH!), and a great man at my side. Other interests include anything related to animals.I love to go camping and be up in the mountains.  Being I live in a city, I tend to lock myself up in my house and read, watch something or play a game.  I am a geek of all trades. Strong emphasis on anything fantasy.   Lately I have also re-discovered the love of colored (thank you adult coloring books).

 I am not very computer savvy so I have yet to figure out how to create many widgets, buttons, etc.  Also, in that regard, any help is appreciated or if you want a pet project to play with, hit me up!  My focus here is not the blog but the books and all things geek!
